Senior Early Intervention Teacher

Mia Ngui Siaw Ying

Mia is experienced in working with children and adolescents with learning disabilities. She aspires to support individuals with special needs to grow and thrive in life.

With a strong foundation in behavioural support and early childhood intervention, she is committed to fostering positive developmental outcomes for children through evidence-based and individualised approaches.

Beginning her career as a Personal Behaviour Tutor, she provided targeted behavioural interventions to support children in developing essential self-regulation, communication and social skills. This experience equipped her with a deep understanding of diverse learning profiles and the importance of tailored strategies to meet each child’s unique needs.

In her current role, she continues to apply this expertise by implementing comprehensive learning programs that promote holistic growth—cognitively, socially, and emotionally. Guided by a collaborative approach, she works closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments that empower every child to achieve meaningful progress and reach their full potential.

Mia believes that every child has their potential and, with supports from all stakeholders, can be empowered to live to their fullest in life. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay.
