Our Founding Story

Amazing Collective grew from years of working closely with children, adults, and seniors — supporting communication, independence, and dignity at every stage of life.

Our founder, Beatrice Teo, is a Speech Therapist who saw how care often felt fragmented and rushed, while real progress needed time, consistency, and support beyond the therapy room. She believed families deserved more connected, thoughtful care.

That belief was lived out through two organisations — Headstart for Life Early Intervention (founded in 2012) and Amazing Speech Therapy (founded in 2016). For years, both teams worked closely together, sharing the same values and supporting many of the same families.

Bringing them together as Amazing Collective was a natural next step — creating one unified team, one shared vision, and more seamless support for the individuals and families we journey with.

A Collective of Experienced, Qualified Professionals

Amazing Collective brings together a team of qualified and experienced therapists across speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, educational therapy, and allied health.

Each professional contributes specialised training and clinical experience, and works collaboratively to ensure care is thoughtful, consistent, and grounded in best practice — not dependent on a single practitioner.

This collective expertise allows us to support a wide range of needs, from early development to adult and medically complex care.

At Amazing Collective, we believe children grow best in environments shaped by kindness and respect.

We use The Virtues Project, a globally recognised approach that builds qualities like resilience, empathy, patience, and confidence. Our educators practise these values daily, in how we work together and support children by modelling positive behaviour that helps children develop not just skills, but emotional awareness, confidence, and a strong sense of self.

Amazing Collective is an Approved EIPIC–P Centre under ECDA, with subsidies available through SG Enable, making high-quality early intervention services more accessible and affordable for families.

This recognition provides families with confidence that our programmes meet national standards of care and professional accountability.

We are a Verified Leading Social Enterprise recognised by raiSE, and were honoured to receive the ASEAN Inclusive Business Award in 2021, reflecting our commitment to inclusive, impact-driven care for those who need it most.
