
Calista is a gentle and warm practitioner who specialises in Paediatric Occupational Therapy.
She was trained as an Occupational Therapist in Melbourne, Australia where she spent 2 years working in Glenroy Specialist School before moving to Singapore. Since then, Calista has more than 5 years of accrued experience working with clients of varying ages in the home, in schools, and within therapy centres.
Calista is experienced in providing intervention for clients of various developmental disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, ASD, Sensory Processing Disorders, ADHD, GDD, Down syndrome, as well as complex genetic conditions such as Angelman Syndrome and Rett syndrome. She is also experienced in assessment and recommendation/prescription of assistive devices such as complex wheelchair prescription and switches.
Calista is passionate about neurodiversity affirming care and adopts a collaborative approach in her practice. Calista believes that children do well if they can, and her role as an OT is to help bridge the gap between the child's current skills and the expectations they have to meet.
